Water polo club Dynamo Lviv is a professional water polo club, based in Lviv, Ukraine. Dynamo Lviv was established in 1949. Already in the 1950s, Dynamo Lviv was one of the leading clubs in the Soviet Union. In 1962 and 1964 they have won National Championship, and in 1963 - USSR Spartakiad. In 1980 and 1986 Dynamo Lviv has became a finalists of the USSR Cup. Thereafter, in 1989 and 1991 it became the bronze champions of the USSR. Ukrainian’s one of the most successful clubs of the 20th century and the most successful club in the history of Ukrainian Water Polo Super League. Dynamo Lviv has won 6-times Ukrainian Championships (1995, 2001, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018) and 7-times Ukrainian Cups (1996, 2001, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017). In 2017 Dynamo Lviv has won a first time in the history Super Cup of Ukraine. They have repeated this success in 2018. Since 1993 Dynamo Lviv participate in European water polo clubs competitions - LEN Cup Winners'​ Cup and Champions Cup (since 2011 - LEN Champions League). In 1996 and 1997 was included in the List of 16 Best European Water Polo Clubs. Pool of the Summer Sports Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (Lviv, Kleparivska str., 39) is home ground of Dynamo Lviv.
