Piraeus Bank in Ukraine (the official name -joint stock company "Piraeus Bank ICB") is a part of the international banking group Piraeus Bank Group. History of the Bank originated in 1994. On September, 13, 2007, Piraeus Bank S.A. (Athens, Greece) announced the acquisition of 99,6% of the share capital of International Commercial Bank (Ukraine). Τhe bank became a part of Piraeus Bank Group and in 2008 the bank changed its official name to JSC “Piraeus Bank ICB”. Piraeus Bank is headquartered in Athens and with approximately 11.4 thousand employees, Piraeus Bank offers a full range of financial products and services to more than 5,4mn customers in Greece. The Group's total assets stood at €59.1bn on 309.2019. Nowadays regional network of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine works in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Cherkasy. The assets of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine make nearly UAH 3 bln, liabilities – UAH 2,2 bln, authorized capital - UAH 2,5 bln. The Bank is a member of Deposit Guarantee Fund. Piraeus Bank maintains the highest rating of deposits reliability as well as credit rating by the rating agency Standard Rating and enters constantly the ratings of the most robust banks in Ukraine.
