The history of PLP Law Group dates back to 2002 when the first Group's company was registered; that time legal and professional services in the sphere of corporate law became the priority areas of the Group's business. Over the next three years the main Group's expertise became the practice of legal defense of businesses against hostile takeover or corporate raids leaded by partners of PLP Law Group Andrii Popko and Ivan Legeida. Partners of PLP Law Group participated the establishment of the non-governmental organization Antiraider Union of Entrepreneurs of Ukraine in 2005 and PLP Law Group became one of the organizers of Inter-Departmental Commission against Illegal Takeover and Seizure of Enterprises attached to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 2007. In the period 2008-2010 in view of multiple requests from clients for legal services in the spheres other than the corporate law, Partners decided to change the boutique form of legal practices of PLP Law Group to full package servicing of the Client. For the purposes of such change there took place complete rebranding of the Group, the list of law branches where the lawyers of PLP Law Group provided competent legal services was extended that caused the corresponding increase in the number of employees and, consequently, movement to the another more functional, large and conveniently located office. Now PLP Law Group includes the Law Firm, the Consulting Company, the Court of Arbitration, the Depositary Company.
