Institute of Ukrainian Studies is non-profit, non-governmental organization. The main goal of the organization is to develop young leaders and spread a true and positive image of Ukraine throughout the World by developing and increasing cooperation with NGOs; civil society, state and international organizations and bodies within Ukraine and from abroad. In its daily activities, our organization organizes projects aimed at increasing cooperation with local youth, ensuring active participation of young people in local life. We also closely cooperate with the Department of the Youth, family and Sports in organizing different youth activities including youth seminars, conferences, trainings, etc. Our members mostly are high school pupils and students of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Lviv National Polytechnic University. Their academic interests vary from International Relations and Journalism to Mechanical Physics. Our members come out different social backgrounds including youth with fewer opportunities, youth from rural areas and youth with disabilities.
