LNZ’s farming operations comprise agricultural farms, managing in the aggregate over 52 000 ha of prime farmland. We focus our farming operations in the central (Cherckassy Oblsat) and northeastern (Sumy Oblast) parts of Ukraine, which are the most favorable areas for farming with sufficient rainfall levels. The use of the modern machinery at our farming enterprises not only improves efficiency of operations and the quality of the soil but also significantly reduces production losses at each stage of the growing campaign. The Company owns and operates grain storage facilities with a total capacity of 74 thousand tonnes. Our certified inland grain elevator mainly services our own farming segment. The Company’s seed processing plant is producing sugar beet seeds originated from Ukraine. Processed (cleaned, graded, treated, packed, tested seed) seeds are stored for later sale. The Company’s seed processing plant is also providing high-quality services both to the Company’s farming segment and third-party customers: upgrading and applying chemical protectants to corn and sunflower seeds. LNZ is one of the largest hybrid seeds and crop protection distributors in Ukraine.
