The East Europe Foundation (EEF) is a charitable non-profit Ukrainian organization. We promote social and economic development of Ukraine by mobilizing resources, strengthening communities, and fostering partnership between communities, authorities, and business. EEF was founded in 2008. Since then more than 20 mln USD have been directed to the social-economic development projects. We successfully continue the operations of our founder – the Eurasia Foundation, supporting projects and initiatives, directed to the development of public society, economic growth and effective management in Ukraine. We focus on: - Effective and Democratic Governance at all levels - Strong and Active Civil Society - Institutional Development At the national level EEF facilitates the implementation of the following programs: - USAID/UK Aid “Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services” (TAPAS Project); - “e-Governance for Accountability and Participation” (EGAP) - USAID RADA Program “Responsible Accountable Democratic Assembly”. The Foundation gets financial support from the international donors, such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Commission, the British Embassy, the Swiss Confederation through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Childfund Deutschland e.V., Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, other governments, foundations, corporations, and private entities.
